After pressing, the wine is poured into wooden barrique barrels: half new, half second generation in which
on fine lees, the wine ages for at least another 3 years.
The wine is ruby to brick in color, with pleasant smooth acidity and smooth tannins.
The smell is intense, reminiscent of ripe red fruit, plum jam, paprika, leather, tobacco.
The wine opens again and again in the glass when exposed to air, offering a wide range of aromas.
Pairing with food: It goes perfectly with venison specialties or grilled steak, but it can also be served with a chocolate dessert such as mousse with truffles.
