The Karst become part of history as Carsus, name given by the Romans. Etymologically the word derives from the Celtic word kara, meaning stone, indicating the stony ground of the region. The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Teran. It is distinguished by the brownish color with Rubine shades and the aroma of fruit that gives the aging in oak barrels. Teran gives freshness and vitality to Carsus.
