Modra Frankinja Pečarič

This is a wine that ages for a longer period in the wooden oak barrels. It indulges with its deep ruby-red color and violet shades. The aroma challenges with overripe dark wild berries, while the profile is rich, has lower acidity and detectable tannins.

Frankinja offers a lot in Bela krajina. It is a red grape variety and a wine of the same name. Pečarič family left the Franconian grapes on the vine until they were overripe, subjected it to prolonged maceration, biological deacidification, and the wine was then matured for 12 months in an oak barrel, a smaller part in a barrique barrel. Now we are pampered in a glass by a rich body and the smell of overripe fruit with vanilla. Serious and mature wine.
