BLAUFRÄNKISCH l. 2021 is an elegantly rich, dark red wine. The grapes for this wine come from an excellent vineyard location (Roševo – Sremič), which enables above-average ripening of the grapes. The 2021 vintage is the first harvest from this newly planted vineyard and is consequently very limited in quantity. The wine matured for 12 months in used oak barrique barrels and during this time developed into an elegant red wine full of flavor, but remains drinkable at the same time. The wine is suitable for further maturation in the bottle (up to 5 years).
The wine is served at 16-18 °C.
Vineyard location: ROŠEVO, SREMIČ
Winemaking: 14-day maceration, alcoholic and lactic acid fermentation.
Pairing with food: it can be enjoyed on its own or accompanied by various dishes based on red meat, game, dried meat products, selected cheeses and other Posavina delicacies.
