Floridia is produced using the méthode traditionnelle, maturing on lees for at least 36 months.
Sparkling wine has a typical gentle onion colour. The aromas that we detect are fine, fresh and fruity. We also detect the smell of raspberries. These fine aromas indicate a nurtured sparkling wine which lay on yeast for a long time.
Sparkling wine keeps all the precious flavours of Pinot Noir enriched with minerality acquired in our vineyards of Karst soil of terra rosa. The vineyards are situated at the very edge of the Vipava Valley turning into Karst. Maturing on yeast gives the wine a ripe taste of wild cherry and raspberries.
Parring with food: recommended as an aperitif and as accompanying drink to seafood, raw or smoked fish, poultry, and various cheese.
