Boris’s tip: Strong white wine with honey aroma. Great with veal and pork.
The wine is medium deep golden yellow in color. The bouquet is beautifully accentuated, ripe, even slightly juicy, fruity. Peach, honey, young spruce, melon can be detected beautifully intertwined and inviting. In the mouth, the wine is dry, strong, with an intense taste. The fruitiness in the mouth decreases slightly, and the intensity of the taste even increases slightly due to the salinity and perceptions of ripening in the wood.
Maceration is the winemaking process where tannins coloring agents and flavor compounds—are leached from the grape skins, seeds and stems into the must. To macerate is to soften by soaking, and maceration is the process by which the red wine receives its red color, since raw grape juice is clear-grayish in color.
