Medium deep amber color, clear. The flower is ripe but fragrant and offers a nice aromatic note that is not very common in macerated wines. Vanilla, dried pears, walnut, butter, potica are the perceptions that together give a really nice, unique note. Dry in the mouth, with a noticeable tannin grip. Full of flavor, the tip of a pencil joins in the mouth. Stronger with a higher amount of acids and a long decline. Made macerated ribs, with nice ripening potential.
Rebula grapes and wine are produced with respect and kindness to nature and tradition. The Grace vineyard is located on the south side, at the foot of the Čaven mountain at an altitude of 350 meters, surrounded by forest. We harvest by hand, with friends, at the beginning of October, when the ribs are ripe. The maceration lasts up to 14 days, until the sugar boils into alcohol, which is how the red wine gets its amber color, like grapes. Then the wine matures for two years in large 2,500-liter barrels and then another two years in bottles. The wine is unfiltered, rich in minerals, with the smell of mother’s nitrogen and all the flowers with which the vineyard is richly endowed.
Pairing with food: poultry, grilled fish, steak.
