Sutor’s wine is an elegant, velvety red wine that impresses us with its mighty bouquet of ripe black fruit and rich taste.
SUTOR RED is a red variety of MERLOT (95%) and CABERNET SAUVIGNON (5%). Grapes come from our older vineyards, where growth is moderate and yields are low (25hl/ha). We cultivate the vineyards with great respect for nature. The wine matures for 24 months in half-new and half-old French oak wooden barrels.
A red variety consisting of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is opaque ruby in color with a purple tinge. The bouquet is mighty and full. On the nose we notice very ripe black fruits, incense, prunes, tar, a hint of jam, and finally floral scents. The mouth is dry, lively but ripe acids, tannins are not few and they are ripe. It is a beautifully composed red variety of a more elegant style. Still young.
