Clear wine, soft dew color, medium viscosity. It has a noticeable, rich fruity scent. It is dry in the mouth, but with a pleasant fruity fullness, which has a medium-long finish.
Vine sort Maločrn (little black) is a very rare autochthonous Istrian red variety.
Location: Poljane (280m above sea level), flysch-sand soil on a marl base (light soil)
Wine-growing area: Slovenian Istria
Average vine age: 10 years
Harvesting: by hand, beginning of September
Filtration: yes – before bottling
Recommended serving temperature: 8-10°C
Production process: grapes immediately destemmed, ripening in stainless steel tanks, bottled after 6 months.
Pairing with food: we recommend it with seafood appetizers, pasta and risotto with lighter sauces, scallops au gratin, fresh food like sushi.
