Red wine (85% Merlot and 15% Teran) aged 3 years in oak barrels. On the nose it is fruity and complex, taste with a hint of red strawberries, coffee and cocoa. The taste is balanced and long lasting.
Ruje is made from merlot and karst teran. The name derives from the glacial name Ruje. Ruby red color with fruity notes reminiscent of red forest fruits, and the smell of flowers. It is extremely rich, intense, has a fresh structured taste with a lasting, intense finish. The grapes are carefully picked in early October. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place in wooden open containers, without temperature control. The wine matures for three years in small, medium and large upright barrels made of Slavonian oak. Bottling takes place without filtration.
