Wine region: Bela Krajina
Variety: 100% traminer
Maceration: 1 month
Maturation: 3 years in wooden barrels
Traminec is another member of the family of “amber” wines. We produce it only in the best vintages, from perfectly healthy and slightly overripe grapes. After harvesting, it is baked, macerated for a month, followed by three years of maturation in wooden barrels.
The color is crystal amber, and the bouquet is pronounced, very pure, and wonderfully varietal, which can be an unexpected wine that has matured for many years. Reminiscent of roses, balsamic perceptions and dried fruits. In the mouth it is completely dry, bold, intense in taste, with an oily texture and a long decline. The variety of Traminer is drawn like a red thread through all phases of tasting. A wine that will last a decade or more. Try it with more intense spicy dishes.
