Vitovska garganje, as our autochthonous karst variety, has always been grown on our farm, however, it has only recently gained recognition in Slovenia, as well as in the world. Grapes that it is harvested in the vineyard and produced in a nature-friendly way. The harvested grapes are macerated 5 days without added yeast and enzymes. Then the wine matures for 1 year in oak barrels and 1 year in stainless steel loan. We do not filter or clean the wine, so it can be with sediment.
Pairing with food: goes great with spicy dishes,fresh sea food, raw oyster, dried meat, gnocchi and pasta dishes, pizza, stews, meat dishes, semi-sweet desserts, or aged cheeses.
