Wine of muted purple tones. The edges on the rim of the glass indicate a full body and predict an exceptional wine. The bouquet is fruity, but tends towards distinctly ripe dark fruit, even jams and jams, especially roasted plums. On the palate, these perceptions are joined by grassy notes that keep the wine fresh. A touch of leather suggests that the wine is already in the phase of full maturity, although its best years are yet to come. The tannins are soft, pleasant, and nicely round off the long aftertaste, during which fruit perceptions are joined by warm spices such as vanilla and cocoa.

Pairing with food: Merlot Kristalvin’s selection is a good accompaniment to elaborate meat dishes such as tournedos Rossini, osso buco, beef cheeks or tail, as well as pasta with cocoa and mature hard cheeses.
