Borac Rojac

Traditionally, summers in Istria are very hot. Since our ancestors did not have chilled cellars, they therefore had to find alternative ways to maintain the wine. One of the methods was maceration, which enriches the wine with tannins – tannins are natural preservatives – which protect the wine. We went back to this old method of white wine production and enriched it with our expertise by bringing the expression of our territory into a glass. In this orange wine you will find everything from soil, sun and a grower – a winemaker – who wants to squeeze only the best and most energetic grapes into your glass. Borac is an example of a first-class collaboration between a winemaker and a caterer. Boris Novak from Domačija Novak and Uroš Rojac, whose names are also a derivative of the name Borac, have been cooperating for many years and with this wine they are entering the market with joint marketing efforts.
