Fresh white wines
All fresh wines are produced using the same process. At optimal ripeness, the grapes are hand-picked. Cool the grapes in chambers at 4°C for at least 1 day. Afterwards, the grapes are ground in a pestle and pressed in a press. It is important to press the grapes chilled, as this prevents various oxidations, which is important in preserving the natural aromas and color of the wine.

It is an old autochthonous variety of the Vipava valley, already described by Matija Vrtovec in the book Vinoreja. The wine has a delicate aroma of floral and fruit perception, it is richly extracted.

Native Slovenian variety. The pride of the Cigojes and the entire Vipava Valley.

Fermentation and maturation takes place in steel tanks.

Medium deep golden yellow color. The flower is accentuated, varietal, after sage, dried apricots, grapefruit, dried herbs. Dry, medium body. It has a high 13 percent for green, but it’s not good to feel them. Moderate acids. In the mouth we also find lemon and pineapple. A youthful, very well-made reference example of the green variety with a medium-long fall.

Pairing with food: It is served at 10 °C, goes well with fish, simple risottos, light starters.
