Merlot Pregeljc

We macerated the Merlot for three weeks after harvesting, and then the wine matured on the fine lees for a year and a half in French barrels. The first impression is sweet, the taste is soft, but at the same time very rich. We can smell the aroma of ripe plums, jam, leather, maybe tobacco. It is a wine that has a strong structure and at the same time a pleasant freshness. It leaves a long trail in our mouth.

It is an excellent food supplement. Both modern haute cuisine and traditional dishes.

The wine received several excellent reviews: Sommelier selection 2019, among the three best Merlots; Vienna, AWC Vienna 2020 gold medal, Gornja Radgona 2021 gold medal.

Pairing with food: venison, mutton, steak.
