Iaquin

Iaquin wines are the result of many years of work by Uroš Jakončič, an avid winemaker from the edge of Goriška Brda. Both he and his vineyard live in Vipolže – a place that is distinguished by its benevolent microclimate and authentic wine identity.

In addition to rebula, you will also notice chardonnay, malvasia, merlot and cabernet sauvignon on the Jakončič family estate, and Uroš’s favorite – sauvignonasse.

The winemaker himself says that most of the work is really done in the vineyard, but in that pinch, represented by the cellar, the winemaker’s note comes to the fore.
