Hlade

The family estate Hlade is located at the junction of Slovenske gorice and Kozjak. More precisely, we are from Šober – Kamnica– Maribor only 6km from city center. Three generations of the Hlade family are cultivating 8 hectares of vineyards.

We divide our vineyards in two locations cru Šober and cru Kozjak. Our vineyards lay between 390m-500m above sea level and are growing on marl and sandstone based soils. All this allows us to produce wines that express minerality, fruitiness and freshness.

We are following low-intervention methods and are known mostly for classically produced wines with a pronounced varietal, fruity, primary bouquet and sparkling wines made with classical method. In the last few years we started producing aged wines that already got recognized on wine fairs and competitions like Decanter. We try to do as little as possible in the cellar and as much as possible in the vineyard.
