Pucer z Vrha

The Pucer family from Nova vas above Dragonja specialize in Malvasia – they produce four different ones – which collect prizes all over the world and can be found in all the best Slovenian restaurants. The Pucer family has been involved in viticulture and olive growing almost since time immemorial, as have virtually all farms in Istria. Wine, mostly Malvasia, has also always been sold – either as an open wine or bottled, but without labels. The first label was designed by Valter and his now-deceased father Elvir in 1996, which, according to Valter’s son Rok, who also continues the family tradition, started a little more seriously. First, liter bottles were equipped with labels, and shortly afterwards, bottles.
