Product description

A dry wine of a stronger color, except for a small amount of sulfur (which is indicated on the label), no modern oenological process or agent was used (filtration, purification, stabilization, acidity regulation, etc.). An exceptional rebula!

Rebula is one of those main indigenous varieties of the Vipava Valley that best reflects the terroir of our vineyards. Its main characteristic is the body and tannins of almost red varieties, which make this white variety unique in the entire wine world. After the harvest, the must was macerated with the berries for 4 days (without temperature control, without added yeast), thus obtaining as many natural substances as possible from the grapes, which ensure great natural stability to the future wine. The result is an intense yellow-orange color with a slight haze and the possibility of sediment, because we do not filter our wines. After pressing, we poured the wine into large oak barrels, where it rested for 2 years without racking, during which time it also underwent lactic acidosis. In the cellar, we do not change the character of the wine, which means that we do not filter it, do not clean it, and do not use any oenological agents and procedures, except for racking and a small amount of sulfur (which is also stated on the label).

Pairing with food: red meet, steaks.
