Product description

ANA Cuvée wine is named after our grandmother Ana and is a type of white grape variety, l. Composed of Chardonnay 75%, Malvasia 10%, Sauvignonasse (F. Tokaj) 10% and Rebula 5%. Maceration and the start of fermentation in large open vats (floaters) for 3 to 4 days without temperature control, after pressing it was poured into classic wooden barrels of various sizes from 500 to 3000 l. Except for the minimal amount of sulfur and classic interventions in the cellar such as e.g. flows and top-ups, no other means or procedure was used. ANA Cuvée wine was created with the aim of offering our clients again, after many years, a similar type of wine as we produced on our farm until 1989. At that time, white wine was always made from three domestic grape varieties – FURLAN, TOKAJ, REBULA and MALVAZIJE, and now CHARDONNAY has been added to ANO Cuvée. If we want to enjoy this wine in optimal conditions, we recommend opening the bottle a few hours before and serving it at room temperature.

Wine of a medium accented amber color with orange shades. The flower is ripe, variegated, single, after pine resin, dried pears, with surprising freshness considering its age. It is very dry in the mouth, medium-bodied with nicely ripe acids, astringency is minimal, the focus of the wine is very clear, mineral, the aftertaste is long.

Pairing with food: shellfish, vegetarian, poultry, lean fish, mild and soft cheese.
