Maceration: 2 to 3 weeks
Maturation: 3 years in Slovenian barrique barrels
Boris’s tip: This wine is called red angel. Do I have to say something more.
Angel Red is a wonderful harmony of three grape varieties. For this year, they combined the might of Merlot, with the Cabernet Sauvignon flower and the freshness of Barbera, which replaced the Caberner Franc from previous years. A wine that matures only at the best harvests.
Harvesting of varieties took place separately, maceration lasted from two to three weeks, maturation in barrique barrels about 3 years.
It is a deep ruby color, dry, stronger wine, full of flavor, with a velvety texture, intense character, the tannins are already pleasantly rounded. In the mouth we get black fruit, forest undergrowth also jam, at the end leather. Long, still very young and very good.
Recommended serving temperature 18-20 ° C.
Paring with food: dishes with truffles, cheeses with noble mold, we offer it with venison, lamb, kid in fruit sauce.
