The characteristic red variety in the Vipava Valley produces excellent wines with characteristic freshness. The deep, dark ruby color, which is already pleasant to the eye, as well as its flowers foreshadow a distinct wine, which is confirmed in the taste. It is therefore no coincidence that the wine is popular, because with its harmonious character it goes well with many dishes, especially meat and grilled dishes. This is especially suitable for summer time.
Color of the wine: Intense dark red color with shades of purple
Aroma of the wine: wild strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, currant, the wine is rich and full of pleasant freshness and warmth
Taste: Harmonious, fresh with slightly higher acidity
Pairing with food: Pasta, mushroom risotto, main dishes with pork, beef, grilled dishes
