The Brestovica valley, rich in minerals, where teran, an autochthonous red wine, is produced from the Refosk grape variety, provides excellent conditions for its growth. Teran PTP, protected by the label “Recognized Traditional Appellation (PTP)”, is an indigenous red-almost black wine. It is a dry, full-bodied, dense wine, with a special flower of wild forest fruit especially raspberries, and a rich extract with a touch of raspberry. It is the essence of the karst red soil, and then the northeast – the storm, the sun, the endurance and the spirit of the Rebula farm and the landscape where it lies. Teran PTP with a slightly higher content of malic acids, characteristic lactic acid and moderate alcohol content.
Pairing with food: goes extremely well with homemade Karst prosciutto, other cured meat products salami, bacon, red meat and flavored cheeses.
