The blue Franconian wine “Črni kos” is the real queen, as it is the only red wine that can be found in Jugov’s cellar. It prides itself on its dark ruby color, which is obtained by maceration for fourteen days, and part of the red queen is placed in a French oak barrel for one year. On the nose, we perceive the interplay of smoke and earth with fruity notes of berries and black cherries. It fascinates the palate with a full and fruity taste with the addition of ripe tannins, and notes of wood can also be felt.
Pairing with food: It goes perfectly with matured steak, beef, venison and cured meat products.
It is served at a temperature between 12 and 14 degrees C.
