Pinela is an indigenous variety that can only be seldom tried. It only grows in the upper Vipava valley in very limited quantities and has been mentioned as early as 1324.
Straw yellow colour with subtle greenish shades. It has a unique, recognisable and gentle bouquet of floral and fruit characteristics. The aroma is youthful and fruity, emphasised by the scent of apple, melon, kiwi and pineapple. The taste is full, very pleasant and harmonious.
