Wine region: Slovenian Istria
Sin sonca (The son of the sun), tasted a few months after bottling in appearance shows off all his youth. The color is ruby red of intense shades with barely noticeable purple hues. The aroma is fruity with blackberries in the foreground, followed by plums and cherries on the fruit side and tobacco and pepper between ripening aromas. Elegance and balance are present in the mouth. Despite the fact that the wine is still very young, nothing stands out, which does not mean that it does not have a very long life ahead of it. Quite the opposite. The acid is perceptible but pleasant, the tannins are soft and supple. Individual varieties are indistinguishable in taste, they all merge into one whole.
