Teran comes from the vineyards in Komen. Squeezing of the grapes is followed by 12 days of maceration after which the wine rests for a year in a 300 liter Inox container.
“The wine has a deep violet color, a scent of delicate red fruit, and a mild spiciness of pepper, typical for Teran from Karst. Incredibly fresh with a gentle aftertaste. A good balance of tannins with a rich softness. One of the best Teran wines, appropriate for drinking right now.”
Pairing with food: It pairs well with red meat, spicy food, and soups.
