A cuvée of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a translucent ruby red color and a dense texture.
The bouquet is intense, characterful and offers a blend of ripe black berries with maturation in wooden barrels. Ripe plum, black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry connect with light hints of butter, vanilla, and sweet spices. Scents of licorice, wood, pepper, forest undergrowth and cedar follow, and in the finish, we also find a slight hint of chocolate.
The palate acts soft, with well-integrated alcohols. Freshness and minerality are pronounced, and the tannins have a velvety effect drying the palate quickly. It is an elegant, full-bodied wine with an intense and long-lasting taste. Flavors of ripe fruit, sweet spices and wood are repeated in the mouth. A harmonious wine that will only improve with age.
Vinification process: Grapes are destemmed and put in vinificator with skins where the fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts. When the fermentation is finished, we wait for another week and after that grapes are pressed and racked in barriques and concrete eggs Eggoist.
Aging: 50% Barrique (225 l French oak barrels) and 50% concrete tanks Eggoist- for 18 months.
Parring with food: It can be served with juicy veal steak, Wellington, as well as game dishes.
