Wine region: Goriška Brda
The wine is a vibrant ruby color with shades of purple. Srage indicates the freshness that is even more strongly predicted by the extremely fruity bouquet. Perceptions of late, black cherries and small forest fruits predominate, especially raspberries, mixed with pleasant herbal-spicy notes (anise, red pepper, cinnamon, vanilla). The taste is extremely dry and pleasantly mineral, salty. The taste confirms the expectations triggered by the bouquet, and we are especially pleased with the balance of alcohol, acids and tannins. The latter only show their true strength in the aftertaste and arrange for a long departure, which thoroughly “cleans” the mouth and prepares them for a new bite or sip.
Cabernet sauvignon Erzetič is a wine that goes well with grilled beef, steaks in a spicy sauce, mature cheeses and also some meats, especially with the lentil sausage with lentils in Dijon sauce. We also recommend it with pizza with anchovies, a burger and some chocolate desserts … The ideal serving temperature is 16 – 18 ° C.
