Product description

Franco Terpin’s chardonnay is an amber orange wine. On the nose intense aromas of ripe fruit, honeyed notes, and withered flowers. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, round, with good minerality and freshness and a long finish.

Spontaneous fermentation, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. It then matures in Slovenian oak barrels for 12 months, followed by an aging in steel for another twelve and then 4 years in the bottle. Franco Terpin’s wines do not undergo any filtration or forced stabilization, so it is easy to find sediments on the bottom.

Like all of Terpin’s wines, drinking is an experience that transforms the wine from an everyday drink into an unforgettable event.

In the area of Collio, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on the border of Slovenia, Azienda Agricola Franco Terpin cultivates his ten-hectare vineyard. Always managed by his family, since his childhood Franco Terpin has seen these grapevines to grow. It led him to produce wines like himself.

Pairing with food: Risotto, pasta and white meat.
