Malvasia as a traditional variety of wine with typical minerality, which it absorbs from the karst soil. The wine is macerated, with spontaneous fermentation without added enzymes. The wine is not cleaned and filtered. It is amber in color with a rich full flavor.
It matures in wooden barrels for a year, then another year in steel barrels. A year after bottling, the wine is suitable for sale.
Pairing with food: goes great with spicy dishes,fresh sea food, raw oyster, dried meat, gnocchi and pasta dishes, pizza, stews, meat dishes, semi-sweet desserts, or aged cheeses.
