Medium deep ruby color with a hint of purple. The bouquet is more intense, coffee, wood, black currant, raspberry. Not completely dry, moderate acids, lower tannins. Lighter to medium body. Simpler, drinkable, but a good example of wine in the lower middle price range.
Parring with food: barbecue, salad, dried meats.
