Golden-yellow Malvasia has a natural taste with a lot of elegance and minerality. It is very aromatic on the nose, the aroma is fruity with notes of spices.
Zidarich Malvasia is produced in the wine-growing region of Trieste, where they hand-harvest the grapes. Alcohol fermentation and maceration take place in wooden containers, without temperature control. Then the wine matures for two years in larger upright barrels made of Slavonian oak. Bottling is without filtration, so the color of the wine is slightly cloudy. The wine pairs well with white meat, fresh fish and vegetable dishes.
