Product description

A long-macerated white wine of orange-amber color, made from organically grown grapes hand-picked on October 5th, 2019. After spontaneous fermentation, it is aged for 6 more months with skins and pips in clay vessels, then aged for 13 months on fine lees in a 600-liter wooden oak egg-shaped barrel.

Deeper orange-amber color. The flower is expressive, mature. Nutmeg notes, smoke, honey, raisins. Somewhat in the direction of Mediterranean muscats of the “passito” style, but with more freshness. Very inviting. Dry, full-bodied, a little warm, despite 16 percent alcohol, rich, with a luxurious aroma in the mouth. Fans of classic muscats can be surprised by a rather clear phenolic touch, fans of orange wines are used to it. Either way, it’s a very well-executed, overripe, “orange” yellow muscat.

Long maceration for six months in an amphora, then maturation for 13 months on fine lees in an egg-shaped wooden barrel.

Pairing with food: It is served at 16 °C, goes well with grilled fish, cheese, steak.
